Breaking In New Boots

Blisters From New Boots

You have just bought you new pair of figure skating boots and they are hurting a lot. Beside hurting a lot, one foot hurts more than the other. The first time you've used them, you've developed some major blisters. Five days later when you went back to the rink, apparently, it seems that more blisters are coming your way. You are wondering if this is normal. If this, is normal for breaking into new figure skates? And if so, how long does it take until the skates are broken into?

It takes about ten or so sessions for the skates to break in completely depending on the individual and the boots. It is totally normal. It happens to everyone. This time around though, I did not get blisters breaking in my boots, I have custom-made boots( Thank you Klingbeil). They are kinder to your feet. If you have to get stock boots, you can use a make up sponge around the part of the foot that feels uncomfortable. There are some popular brands that are adhesive, they cost a little more and are not reusable. The make up sponge creates the same effect. They are flat and round. Boys and girls can use them equally. We're talking about comfort here. This not the time to worry about what your "macho, insecure pals" will think of you. Cut a small hole in the middle of the sponge and put and put it around the blister it helps.

Depending on the skates, It is VERY normal to get blisters when breaking in some new skates! Don't worry! If you're having problems around the ankle area, you can take your boots to a skate shop and ask them if they could "punch out" the ankles for you. They have a metal tool that they can use to squeeze and stretch the leather, creating additional room for your ankles. It'll take a little while before your skates feel comfortable. When you're starting with them, try not lacing them all the way up. If you're having problems with your ankle, leave the top eyelet unlaced until you feel more comfortable. Also try leaving the top hook undone until you feel more flexibility in your boots. Put on your skate guards and wear your skates around the house in order to help you with the break in process.

If the blisters are very uncomfortable, the best thing you could do, though it does not sound, is to stop skating for a week or so depending on how bad your blisters are. Wear flip flops as much as possible and put on some ointment to relax the blister. Also, if you can, go to a doctor because he or she may provide the best help and care possible for you to apply

Don't worry! It is completely normal for you to be uncomfortable when adjusting to new boots. The most important thing is to take care of the problem. Put some ointment on your blister and wear flip flops as much as you can in order for the blisters to not get more irritated. Usually it will take a few sessions for your skates to break in. However, if you do not take care of your blisters, your feet will hurt additionally when you put your boots on and it might hinder you skating as you might have to take additional time off from skating in order for the blisters to heal.

Get better fitting skates

Each skater has a preference when it comes to boots. Personally, I find "custom" is the way to go. You are fitted for those boots. They are made for "you." Yes! there is a breaking process. However, it is not as long nor is it as painful. Just make sure that your skates fit properly and you will be able to avoid such problems. Try getting your boots custom made if you can afford it.

So, You Like Westerns - Here is a Book Review for You

What was winning the west really like, how have those days gone by shaped our civilization today? You might be quite surprised how although things have changed, such as cars, trucks and planes, the wild west is still in us all and this is one of those books that takes you there and back again full circle until you realize this very fact. To which book do I refer you ask? Well, the book title is appropriate to its message, memory and madness:

"Western Madness" by Harvey T. Boyd - 1994.

The reader will get a history lesson of the old west and the history of Arizona from the ancient Indians to the first newspapers that brought information to settlers. Learn about Bisbee Arizona, in its hay day, learn about outlaws, mining and the reality of "okay coral" and what really happened in the day of Tombstone. Historical fiction at its best, that is the best of the old West; from that areas inception through the 1940s.

The book takes us through Show Low, Holbrook, Winslow, the Navajo Nation, Hopi Indian Territory, in the 1920s,30s,40s and beyond and how that effects current events in the present period. This book was well researched and quite intriguing. The story is great, but best of all is all the Arizona history you will learn along the way and in the end you will find that the wild-west is still alive and well today.

Few authors are able to tell such a story bathed in history and delivering such a power punch of reality to all we are and all we know. I highly recommend this book, by two, one for a friend.

Prosperity and Abundance Myth #1

As more and more people learn how to harness the power of their thoughts and deliberately create their experiences, I have noticed a few common misconceptions popping up that could cause delays for many. These "myths" aren't always completely false, but are rather misleading in certain ways, so I will be addressing them in a series of articles that will hopefully help people avoid the misdirection that could prevent them from getting where they want to be quickly and easily.

Myth #1 - Positive Thoughts Create Prosperity and Abundance

Everywhere you turn these days you encounter articles, books, videos, audio seminars and more that proclaim the need to think positively if you want to attract more money into your life. The reason for this is obvious: what you focus on the most, you draw into your life. Focus on good things, attract them. Focus on negative things, attract them. The Law of Attraction works according to the "signal" you send out to the universe, which is a mixture of your overall focus and emotional state. So if you want to attract good things into your life, you need to send out signals of goodness.

This is true to a certain degree, but there is much more to it than that.

Before I explain what is wrong with this "myth", ask yourself if you can think of any wealthy people that are miserable. Just off the top of my head I can come up with a handful of examples of people who have plenty of money but the rest of their lives are in shambles. They struggle with drug and alcohol addictions, relationship turmoil, and endless drama and struggle. I strongly doubt that these people are thinking good thoughts all day long!

Likewise, you can probably think of a few examples of very positive people who are also severely limited financially. They may be very generous, compassionate, kind, loving people, but they still have very little money.

These examples defy the assertion that thinking good thoughts will attract good things, don't they?

The truth is, positive thoughts are not enough. Positive emotion is not enough.

Lurking beneath those qualities is something so powerful that it can make all the difference in whether your manifestations succeed or fail.

That something is called: BELIEF

Your beliefs are the "mold" that you pour your thoughts and emotions into. Imagine that you wanted to make a plaster cast of a sunflower to paint and hang as a decoration in your home. In order to do that, you would need the material to make the plaster and a mold in the shape of a sunflower that you could pour the plaster into.

But what if you didn't have a mold in the shape of a sunflower? What if you only had one in the shape of a daisy? Could you use it and still get a sunflower cast anyway? Not likely!

You could experiment with dozens of variations on the plaster, making it thicker, thinner, dye it different colors, or even switch to a completely different mixture like quick-set concrete - but it still wouldn't create a sunflower cast until you used a sunflower-shaped mold.

The same thing happens with your beliefs. You can think and speak positively all you want, but if your beliefs are shaped in a way that block abundance and prosperity from coming to you, they will continue to do so until you re-shape them into the form you want - which in this case is wealth and well-being.

This is not to say that positive thoughts and emotions are useless. They are definitely a good start. Positive thoughts activate positive emotions, which does begin to affect your overall frequency. But if your thoughts, words, and emotions are saying, "I want more money, send me more money" and your beliefs are saying, "Money is evil, money is wrong, I don't want to be one of those ugly, greedy people" - well, I do not have to tell you what the outcome would be.

Your beliefs will win the battle every time.

If you have been focusing heavily on changing your thoughts and emotions to be more positive but still not seeing the results you want, consider whether your beliefs may be putting up a blockage. Once you begin targeting those limiting beliefs and changing them - watch out! Results will usually come quickly and easily, and often in very surprising ways!

Skin Cancer - Are You at High Risk For Skin Cancer?

If you have been reading newspaper or listening to news regularly over the past few years, you should have come across several warnings telling us to protect ourselves from skin cancer. Whilst there are many who do pay attention to these cautions, a shocking count of women still ignores them. If you are amongst those women that ignore these warnings, you are likely to think that it's impossible for you to get affected by skin cancer. Again, you might feel it to be no harm, if you miss applying sun tan lotion while moving out.

Skin cancer is not a rare phenomenon, as people consider it to be. Whilst it's true that staying unprotected in the sun for short duration seldom leads to cancer, you might still face its wrath. Most women get affected with skin cancer after exposing themselves to the sun for a long period of time. As a matter of fact, almost 75% of women diagnosed with it every year have a history of constant sun exposure. Although cancer might occur after severe sunburns, it usually results for many years in the sun.

Do you stay long in an open environment for long periods and get frequently bathed by sun without having any protection on your skin? If you do, then are you at high risk for skin cancer? Again, is there any spot on your skin, which has been bothering you for long? Can it be cancerous? If you even have a feeling that the spot can be cancerous, you should immediately schedule a visit with your doctor!

Definite diagnosis can only be made once a biopsy is performed.

Over 99 percent of women, who are diagnosed with cancer on their skin, have:

Basal cell skin cancer: Women developing these sores find that a pimple or a scab grows on their skin, bleeds or drains, and then scabs again. This cycle is seen to continue repeatedly and has been found tough to heal completely.

Squamous skin cancer: It looks similar to basal carcinomas. They also appear rough and have scaly patches on the skin, which do not disappear.

These 2 cancer types usually appear in nose and similar other regions of the skin, which frequently receives direct rays from the sun. Skin of your nose is very much tender, and can be at high risk for non-melanoma cancer. Both basal cell and squamous skin cancer are treatable, if you choose to remove them surgically.

Usually, women develop non-melanoma cancers on their nose or face. However, sometimes melanoma occurs on their face too. Such cancer types spread rapidly and can be deadly, if it stays undetected and untreated in its initial stages. Sometimes, it's difficult to differentiate the two types. This is the reason why you should see a doctor, whenever you notice something wrong with your skin.

If you have a belief that you are at high risks of skin cancer, you should immediately schedule appointments with your doctor. Skin cancers can be successfully treated, if they are caught in their initial stages.

Your life might totally depend on the early detection & diagnosis of a bothersome sore on the skin. So don't even think about delaying!

What is the Basic Difference Between Music Production and Sound Engineering?

Music production involves creating the music from scratch and sound engineering involves mixing the different instruments together so it sounds nice.

I will reveal both aspects as they relate to D.J.'ing but more so on the production side.

For most established D.J.'s, meaning those who have been D.J.'ing for a while whether it is in their bedroom or in the club, music production is the next logical step. Because D.J.'s play so many different types of music they come across a lot of beats and sounds. This inspires some D.J.'s to sample those beats and sounds and make up their own songs.

This is the beginning of the music production stage. There are 3 stages to music production: pre-production, music production and postproduction.

Stage 1 Pre-production

The music production stage is the crafting of the new song. I call this the pre- production stage because you are just experimenting with music. This is where music from the record or mp3 is sampled using a sampler or drum machine like an Akai MPC. But before you can sample and produce music you have to make sure your gear is properly connected:

So that I can sample sounds into my Akai drum machine I have my Technics turntable going into the phono input of my stereo unit. Then I take the phono out of my stereo unit to the input of my MPC 3000. My MPC gets connected to my Akai DPS 24.Then the DSP 24 is connected to the CD input of the stereo unit so I can hear what I produce.

In order to sample I have to make sure I select the phono option on my stereo unit. After I sample the sounds I have to switch to the CD option on my stereo unit so I can hear the playback from the drum machine. Once you've completed your musical arrangement and saved all of your work and you are satisfied with it you can move into the part two of the pre-production phase.

During this phase is when you bring in artists to perform on you track. This is where you begin to rearrange the track or music you created with the artists. This collaboration period enables you and the artists to make minor adjustments to the music and the lyrics. You may also add to or take away parts of the track such as adding additional drums or strings. The artists will practice their song using your track. Once this is very tight you move to the studio to lay the music and the vocals on separate recording tracks. The reason why you want to practice before you get to the studio is because studio time is very expensive and you don't want to waste time practicing in. That is where you need to focus all of your time making sure the music and vocals are recorded cleanly without pops and clicks.

Stage 2 Music Production

When you get to the studio this is where the sound engineer comes into play. This person is responsible for making sure all of you music sounds excellent. These people have years of experience. Some D.J./Producers also like to engineer their own music because they know how they want their music to sound. If this is the case then the sound engineer simply assists the D.J. with mixing the music and using the studio equipment.

The mixing part of the music production phase is done in the studio where all of the music tracks and vocal tracks are blended together to give you what you hear on your CD.

Each musical instrument and vocal track is mixed and adjusted using what is called a mixing board like my Akai DPS24 only larger or software based mixing console like Pro Tools.

Stage 3 Postproduction

After the mixing is done the postproduction process begins. The final mix is taken to what is called a Mastering Studio where specialized equipment is used to bring out the best possible sound. When this process is completed the final results of the song are then pressed on CD or vinyl and sold to the customer.

Easy and Effective - Creating a Comprehensive Marketing Plan for Your Home Business

Everyone knows that planning is essential to business. Yet, the average work at home professional does not have a current marketing plan. Many don't feel they have the time or the skills to create a marketing plan, however a marketing plan can save both time and money and no special skills are required to create a marketing plan.

What can a marketing plan do for your business?

Just creating a marketing plan can benefit most businesses immediately. It gets you thinking about marketing as an ongoing investment rather than the haphazard approach that contributes to inconsistent results. Creating the plan can help clarify and distill your goals into achievable tasks. Knowing what you are going to advertise and when helps you narrow down exactly how you are going to do it far in advance. Planning in this way can pay off big for your business. It can help you stay on budget and increasing profit margins by reducing marketing costs. The resulting windfall can be used to pay off debts, re-invest for growth or put into savings for the future.

The immediate benefits can be quite astounding to those new to planning. It can put you ahead of the competition in both advertising space and in placement for events, online and off. The rules of some of these events prohibit two representatives of the same company from participating. By researching the options early, you can take the time to choose the events most likely to be profitable for you. Booking early for these events can ensure that you secure a position at some of the most popular events. Events like craft shows, bridal and baby fairs, and other events often give preferential treatment to those who book early, including reduced rates, preferential placement and any number of perks.

A marketing plan can help you budget purchases more effectively. For instance, if you plan to get a personalized item, such as pens, printed for a particular event you can price out the options in advance and begin setting aside money for the expense. If you happen to see a good sale or special in the meantime, you may decide to purchase early, possibly saving a significant amount depending on the sale. Without a plan, you may purchase these sorts of items without a solid purpose or end up leaving the decision too late and have to pay for expedited production and delivery. Since these sorts of items are often less expensive with higher quantities, planning in advance can allow you to purchase enough to last through several, if not all, the events you have planned saving both with the lower unit price and by avoiding additional set-up fees common to most print jobs.

Ready?

Relax! This is quite likely not as hard as you fear it will be. There's no need to face the process with trepidation. There is no reason to avoid it as a daunting task that you need to procrastinate your way up to.

As a small business you don't need a fancy program or any specialized knowledge to create your own marketing plan. Your marketing plan doesn't need to be drawn out and complicated; it simply has to meet your needs. You don't need a marketing plan that conforms to corporate level standards. It simply needs to keep you on track and moving towards your personal business goals.

Get Set...

Before you begin, block off at least one hour of time. If you have young children at home, you may want to book two hours to allow time for interruptions. Once you've blocked off this time, you will want to gather up your supplies.

If you are a paper planner you will need: A notepad A calculator A calendar A pen A pencil Highlighters Post It Notes *Easy Access to past and present business records Working near the computer (if you keep your records online) or filing cabinet will ensure you can keep working. If your records are all over the place, take the time to gather them in one place even if they aren't organized. You may have to do additional calculations to make the marketing plan effective, but at least you won't have to search the entire house to do it.

If you are a computer planner you will want programs that can allow for the simulation of the paper supplies. Most word processors can easily handle this, though you may have to download a calendar template. You may choose to use a scheduling program if you are comfortable with using one, but there's no point to learning a new program for this task. Learning a new program while developing a marketing plan can slow down the creation process.

Go!

First read through all the steps before you begin. This is important because you may choose to do some of the steps out of order.

Step One: The Budget

Your first task is to develop a marketing budget. Small businesses often find it necessary to budget both money and time. Since money can be rather scarce, especially in the start up stages, you will have to invest time to take advantage of free and low cost alternatives and undertake much of the marketing work yourself.

How much to budget is a matter of debate. The exact amount will vary depending on the size of your business, your comfort with risk, and your long term business goals. Someone with a small business who wants business to grow big enough to support her entire family within five years will choose to spend more than the business owner who is content to fund household extras.

If you are already in business, one way of coming up with a ballpark figure for your marketing budget is to review your marketing expenses over the past year. If you haven't been in business for a year, add up what you have spent on marketing so far, divide the amount by the number of months you've been in business and multiply this figure by 12. From this yearly figure, decide whether you would like to increase, decrease or maintain this budget, keeping in mind that you may be able to reduce some marketing costs through advance planning. You can add or reduce the figure using a set dollar amount or percentages. For example, if you spent $100 on marketing in the past year, you may want to increase it by a modest 10% or a more aggressive target of $1000 in an effort to expand.

If you are not yet in business and developing a marketing plan, look at your sales goals and decide on a percentage of sales (or profit) that you are willing to re-invest into marketing. At 10% a sales goal of $3000 would net a $300 marketing budget. If you are basing your budget on retail sales, you will want to make sure you can still make a reasonable profit. If you are in direct sales and receive 40% commission, this scenario would leave $900 remaining after marketing expenses. Adjust the figure up or down until you feel comfortable committing to it for at least six months no matter what your sales figures dictate.

Don't worry too much if your marketing budget seems minuscule. There are a variety of ways to stretch a marketing budget. Look for the article on this topic (Stretching your marketing dollar) next week.

Step Two: The Methods

After the often challenging task of developing a budget, this next step will undoubtedly be a breeze for you. If you are already in business make a list of the methods and venues you are currently using and have used in the past year. This includes both free and paid marketing opportunities. Things that you might be adding include:

Article Writing Networking Groups Online Expos Advertising Groups Newsletter/Ezine Advertising Banner Ads Pay Per Click Direct Mail Flyer/Sample Exchanges Prize Giveaways Press Releases

After you've completed a comprehensive list of what you've done, create another column or start another page that covers what you would like to do in the coming year.

Step Three: The Calendar

The calendar will become an integral part of your marketing plan throughout the year, so choose one that has large blocks for you to write in. Resist the urge to use the same calendar as you use for all your business and family needs. You can add marketing tasks to your general calendar later if having calendars is too confusing, but the planning part should be done with a blank calendar.

First, go through each month and identify the major holidays and events. This is easy because most calendars already have them marked off. Decide which of these holidays will lend themselves well to your product or service. For instance, mother's day won't be an ideal holiday if you are a consultant for toys (though you could try to promote certain toys as sanity savers for moms the idea probably won't lead to a high volume of sales).

Second, you will want to enter dates that are specific to your company. When is your spring product launch? Do you work with a company that has specific campaign start and end dates. Pencil in as much of this information into your calendar.

Now, let's take a minute to go back over your holiday or special event promotions. If you work with a direct sales company, determine how long does it take for items to be shipped. Count back from the event and add three days just in case and write this on your calendar. You can skip adding the three days only if you are confident that your company always ships with precision and timeliness. Repeat this process until you have a date which orders must be in by for each holiday and special event. We'll get to the actual marketing and promotion tactics a bit later.

Next you'll want to revisit those company specific dates. Count back 8 weeks from the product launch and mark that as the date when you'll start booking forward with hostesses. This will also be the date when you begin to call previous hostesses and customers to get them lined up for the new season.

After you've established the basics, you'll want to take a look at other promotional opportunities. If you are involved in online or offline fairs, you'll want to slot these into your calendar. General dates are okay at this point, but be sure to write these events on your notepad so you can investigate and fill in the details later.

Finally, before we put away the calendar for this exercise, book yourself one to two days a month to follow up on special events for your customers. If you haven't been making an effort to record things like birthdays, anniversaries and other special events in your customers' lives, you could be missing out on some wonderful sales opportunities as well as a chance to connect to your customers on a personal level.

Step Four: The Nitty Gritty

Now comes the most labor intensive part of the process, putting it all together. You want to work to align your budget, your dates and your methods together, so you can create a plan of action to take you through the year.

Let's take February as an example for a business that sells handcrafted jewelry. In this business the owner has decided to use 10% of last year's income to determine the marketing budget for this year. In February of last year the income was $600, giving a budget of $60 in total. However, it costs the owner a steady rate of $10 per month for hosting charges for a website and has an ongoing ad for $5/month at a shop at home website. That leaves $45 for the marketing expenses for this month.

She doesn't feel that this is enough for this year because she really wants to increase sales for this year. She peeks ahead in her marketing calendar and sees she has no major promotion for March, and her next big promotion is a spring promotion around Easter. She takes half of March's budget of $75 (after website and set advertising)and allots the funds February and April ($37.50 each), choosing to do as much free promotion in March as possible.

Now, being handcrafted, it takes time to create and ship orders. While some orders can be created in advance, the owner doesn't feel confident in her ability to gauge the most popular pieces in advance. So, she doesn't like using supplies, if possible until the orders come in. She decides to allow 5 days for production and another 5 for shipping. That means all online orders must be in by February 4th for Valentine Delivery and February 9th for local orders. She decides to run her Valentine Promotion beginning on January 20th. Since the promotion starts in January, she decides to use a percentage of January's marketing budget $40 (after website and standard ad) for February's promotion as well. It's an 11 day promotion out of a 31 day month, which is 35% of the month. This gives a dollar amount of $14.

She now was $96.50 to devote to her marketing efforts for the Valentine's Day promotion. Now she has to decide which methods to use to promote her business.

She first considers using chocolate hearts with her business name on them and leaving them with a sign and display at the local mechanic. Unfortunately, at 25 cents a piece, the 500 minimum is too high to fit the budget. She loves the idea though, so makes a note on her notepad to reconsider the idea the following year.

She considers putting an ad in the local paper for the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day. She would like to be able to afford a display ad, but knows that three ads would be more than her budget will allow for at $56.00 for a quarter-page. She makes a note to call her friend that makes candles, another who creates gift baskets and ask them if they'll consider doing a joint ad. She assumes they will and takes $56.00 off her marketing budget.

She notes that there is an online expo that runs a "Love is in the Air" expo on February 4th. It's cutting it tight for creation and delivery, but decides she's willing to work extra hard if necessary to complete orders that may come in from the event. She sets aside the $10.00 vendor fee.

She then decides that she will use the remainder of her budget to directly market to the customers who bought around this time last year. She already has general postcards and will print up individual letters. She figures printing and postage will take up the last $30.50.

With her budget gone, she starts to examine free ideas for promotion. She decides to write three articles for the month, one on buying appropriate jewelry based on a woman's personality, one on jewelry care and one on romantic ideas for Valentine's Day. She puts the ideas onto her notepad and adds writing and distribution to her list. She also jots down several related ideas to enter into her blog. Then she thinks about the specials she will offer to her newsletter list and the ads that she'll create for the advertising lists, networks and forums that she's on.

The process is repeated with each month and each promotional period that she's set throughout the calendar year.

Step Five: Making it happen

Using a PDA or a planner system, putting specific tasks and deadlines through the calendar year can help keep everything on track throughout the year. When you experience a lull or slow period in your business you can write ads or articles for future events. You could even write all your ads for the year at one go, to create a consistent feel and flow. You could create blog entries or articles for your newsletter months in advance of busy periods, when you know you'll be too busy to concentrate on those tasks. You could also create your web pages for specials in advance.

Step Six: Measuring

Don't leave measuring your results till the end of your marketing calendar. Assess your results after each promotional period or at minimum once a month. If a certain venue or method isn't working for you, you'll want to adjust your plan and re-allocate your resources so they can be put to best use.

Other Hints and Tips:

It's important to keep in mind that marketing takes time to be effective. Don't pull an ad after one attempt in a new venue. It takes time and repetition for prospective customers to decide to click on over to your site or give you a call.

Keep yourself out there and trying new ways to reach more customers. While it's important to be consistent and stick with venues that work, you want to avoid reaching the point of saturation in any area. So keep seeking out new areas to expand into.

Always follow up and consider your current and past customers in your marketing approach. Repeat customers are less expensive to maintain than finding new customers to replace them.

Don't forget to have fun! Marketing should not be all drudgery and dirty work, it should be exciting. And with a well thought out plan it should be.

Today's Ever Increasing Compensation Culture

We are all now living in the compensation culture where someone ends up picking up the tab, is this ethically right or wrong? More and more people are now claiming compensation thanks to the no win no fee contracts that many companies are now offering. Is this right or wrong?

Many people have a fall and the first thing they thing is 'great, compensation claim, money for nothing'. There are also people who purposely create an accident themselves and then exaggerate their injuries so as to get the most amount of compensation money. This is wrong and trying to separate the legitimate claims from the false is a difficult task and this is costing insurance companies a lot of money.

When people legitimately have an accident which is the result of another person or organisation and the blame lies with them, and then it is surly right that the person injured should be compensated for. If a person is disfigured or disabled by the negligence of another then compensation is one way of softening the blow as it were. Obviously it won't compensate totally for the injuries and pain suffered, money never can. Ask a young boy who due to an accident at school had to have his finger amputated whether he would like the choice of £10,000 or his finger back. He would inevitable rather have his finger back then any money offered. But his finger can not be sewn back on; it was too severely damaged so any money offered to the young boy will help a little with the loss and his disability. So it is obviously a good thing that companies are offering the no win no fee options, it means people who would normally be put off by lawyers costs can now confidently make a claim.

This is also a great opportunity for the not so law abiding citizen to make false claims. This is obviously tricky to handle and there needs to be some legislation put in place or the companies need to investigate each claim thoroughly.

There are many sites available online now that offers no win no fee compensation. Internet services typically offer free advice to anyone that calls them and they will tell you there and then whether it would be worth pursuing the case.

Paid Surveys Online - Who Are You Kidding? They Are All Scams!

I promise you that when I first started looking to find a good company to work with for getting paid for filling in paid surveys online, I really did think that every company was a scam.

Each time I found a new company to work with, one that I thought was finally going to be different, I'd find out the hard way that I wasn't going to make any money this time either!

I was beside myself. I gave up!

That was the worst thing that I could have done, there is no way that I should have let the scam artists win over me. I really have missed out. The thought of earning money online just by filling out some surveys shouldn't be off limits to anyone.

The big companies were literally throwing money at people, begging them to sign up and I was still searching for a legit company. Why could everyone else find it and I couldn't?

Having a two sets of twins meant that I really didn't want to go back to work and finding something that I could fit around the kids was really important to me. I researched and saw that there were thousands of people making money by doing these paid surveys online - I just couldn't find out if there were any that weren't scams!

There are one or two companies out there that are genuine, but look for a company that has been around for a long time and try them first. Ask questions before you part with any cash. Make sure that you search and look for any signs that it could be a scam. How many members do they have? How long have they been in business? If flags start waving at you, take your time and don't get sucked in by claims of quick riches.

In ending, there are companies out there that are genuine, take your time to find the right one for you.
